Silvermine Finance led the design of an institutional-grade operating model for a U.S.-based precious metals platform that combines a client-facing retail business with a separate, ring-fenced trading and hedging desk, and a later-phase, fully backed tokenized metals product.

Our work centered on making the platform “bankable”: defining clean legal-entity boundaries and intercompany flows, mapping the end-to-end process (onboarding → funding → pricing/execution → custody/fulfillment → reconciliation → reporting), and building a gated go-live plan where volumes scale only after controls are proven.

We also developed treasury and risk governance (liquidity, inventory/title, market risk, daily P&L), role-based responsibilities, and vendor/control requirements for third-party logistics, custody, and regulated compliance tooling.
